Remove Pop-Up Blockers
In order for Cabrillo Credit Union’s website to work properly, pop-ups must be enabled. Also, JavaScript and Cookies must be enabled in your web browser.

The most current versions of Internet Explorer or Firefox contain built in pop-up blockers. You will need to configure your browser to allow pop-ups from cabrillocu.com since our website uses pop-ups. To make sure you have pop-ups enabled for cabrillocu.com, follow the steps below to manually check your pop-up settings.  Be aware, in addition to the pop-up blockers on your browser, third party vendors and Internet Service Providers may have pop-ups blocked.  They are too numerous to document all of them, however be aware that those too could be blocking your access to our website.

How to Enable Pop-ups

1. From Tools point to Pop-up Blocker, and then click on Pop-up Blocker Settings
2. Type cabrillocu.com in the box 'Address of Web site to allow' and click Add
3. Set the Filter Level to Medium: Block most automatic pop-ups
4. Click Close

Firefox 3.0.4

1. From Tools select Options
2. Select the Content icon
3. Ensure Block Pop-up Windows is not checked OR Alternatively
4. If it is checked type cabrillocu.com in the box ‘Address of web site:’ and click Allow
5. Click Close
6. Click OK

1. From Tools select Preferences
2. Under the General tab ensure 'Block unwanted pop-ups' is activated in the Pop-up dropdown box

1. From Firefox select Preferences
2. From the menu click on Content
3. Under Block pop-up windows, tick the check box
4. Then select Exceptions to allow sites
5. Type cabrillocu.com in the box ‘Address of web site:’ and click Enable
6.  Close windows

What is a pop-up blocker?
Pop-up Blocker is a feature in Internet Explorer that lets you limit or block most pop-ups. You can choose the level of blocking you prefer, from blocking all pop-up windows to allowing the pop-ups that you want to see. When Pop-up Blocker is turned on, you will get an Information bar message saying "Pop-up blocked. To see this pop-up or additional options click here."

How do I turn pop-up blocker on or off?
Pop-up Blocker is turned on in Internet Explorer by default. To turn it off or to turn it on again if you've already turned it off, follow these steps:

To turn Pop-up Blocker on or off

1. In Internet Explorer, click the Tools button, and then click Pop-up Blocker.
2. Do one of the following:
1. To turn off Pop-up Blocker, click Turn Off Pop-up Blocker.
   
2. To turn on Pop-up Blocker, click Turn On Pop-up Blocker.
   

Can I see a pop-up that Internet Explorer blocked?
Yes. Follow these steps:

1. In Internet Explorer, navigate to a website with a pop-up, and then click the Information bar when it notifies you that a pop-up window has been blocked.
2. Click Show Blocked Pop-up.

You can allow a pop-up to be displayed by pressing CTRL+ALT as you click a link to open a website that has pop-ups.

How can I choose to allow pop-ups from a specific website?
By default, Internet Explorer displays pop-ups that appear as a result of you clicking a link or button. Pop-up Blocker blocks pop-ups that are displayed automatically (without you clicking a link or button). If you want to allow a specific website to display automatic pop-ups, follow these steps:

1. In Internet Explorer, click the Tools button, click Pop-up Blocker, and then click Pop-up Blocker Settings.
2. In the Address of website to allow box, type the address (or URL) of the website you want to see pop-ups from, and then click Add.
3. Repeat step 2 for every website you want to allow pop-ups from. When you are finished adding websites, click Close.
   

How do I change the pop-up blocker settings?

1. In Internet Explorer, click the Tools button, click Pop-up Blocker, and then click Pop-up Blocker Settings.
2. Make any changes that you would like, and then click Close.
